Jason & Hala Herbert
Jason started working full-time in the family business after high school. He started on the clean-up crew, and eventually worked his way up to the Foreman of the flat crew. In 2008, he bought the business from his father, Brian, with his business partner Jake Maynard. In 2017, he married his wife, Hala. At the end of 2017, Jake unexpectedly passed away, leaving the business in the full-time care of Jason and Hala. Jason and Hala have 6 kids, 5 boys and 1 girl. Their names are: Braden, Brody, Nolan, Lucas, Ella and Kaiden. They enjoy riding motorcycles, spending time with their family, and boating in the summer. He and Hala also love to travel as much as possible. They are passionate about the business and the people they work with. They are dedicated to changing the lives of everyone possible by providing them with opportunities to grow within the business. They are fearless and compassionate leaders, having big goals for the company's future.
Brad Bettner
Brad currently lives in Saginaw but is originally from Illinois. Brad joined the Herbert Roofing family in 2009 as a Crew Foreman. In the years he has worked with our company, he has had many titles including Foreman, Salesman, Operations Manager, and has worked his way up to his current role as Vice President. Brad is very loyal, energetic, and dedicated. Brad and his wife, Jenn, have 3 children and are actively involved in their local church. Brad’s knowledge of the roofing process and determination makes him a very valuable asset to our team. We call him our ‘master problem solver’ and ‘King Kong of Roofing’.
Tom Richter
Ann Wenglikowski
Ann and her husband Mark live in Bay City and have 8 adopted children and 6 grandchildren! Ann joined Herbert Roofing in 2022 and when she is not working, she enjoys time with her family and friends and is active in her church. Ann’s positive attitude is motivated by a quote from Michael Altshuler “The bad news is time flies – The good news is you’re the pilot.”
Kevin Hansen
Kevin has been a tremendous asset to us since coming on board as our General Manager at the Harbor Springs location. He loves working with our customers and seeing that all projects are done with excellence from start to finish. Kevin also serves the community as a volunteer fire fighter for the City of Petoskey Fire Department and the Resort Bear Creek Fire Department. He also loves spending time with his wife and working on their hobby which has a variety of animals. We don’t know how he does it all!
Kailey Leach
Kailey has been here at Herbert Roofing since 2023 and is currently the leader of our Call Center. Kailey can be found at the front desk and is the first face that you meet when you walk in the door. When Kailey is not working, she is raising her 3 children. Kailey’s positive attitude is motivated by a quote from Mahatma Gandhi “Be the change that you wish to see in the world.”
Sarah Mahoney
Sarah has been a part of our Herbert Roofing family since 2022 and in her free time, she enjoys channeling her creative side with interior painting. Sarah is most motivated by the Navy Seals mantra “slow is smooth, smooth is fast.”
Dillon Weadock
Lynn Strobel
Lynn joined our team in 2020 as our Call Center Supervisor and then moved to our Finance Department as our Finance Assistant. Lynn loves to have a good time and you can always find her joking and laughing. She is very giving and compassionate and loves spending time with her husband, 5 children and 12 grandchildren.
Tim Walli
Tim started with Herbert Roofing in 2019 with a strong passion for sales. He is a veteran when it comes to helping customers get the right roofing system for their home. He is approachable, easygoing, and hard-working and he has become one of our top salesmen. Tim and his wife, Jacquie, have 2 daughters and own an ice cream shop in Bay City called Buoy 18. Tim also enjoys sailboat racing.
Rich Stark
Rich has been here at Herbert Roofing since 2022 and is on our sales team. He has a long history of experience in the construction industry and Rich is the self-proclaimed ‘sales manager favorite’ and motivated by the quote “the early worm gets the bird.”
Jeremy Kuschel
Jeremy joined the Herbert Roofing family in 2023 and is currently on our sales team. Jeremy is a Minnesota native but loves life in Michigan. When he’s not at work, Jeremy can be found coaching youth sports. Jeremy’s motivation is strongly backed by Philippians 4:13 “I can do all things through Christ which strengthen me.”

Lexi has been a part of our Herbert Roofing family since 2024. You can find Lexi nestled in our Call Center where she is always bubbly, smiling and ready to help. Lexi enjoys spending time with her husband, nieces and nephews when not at work.
Develle Jones
Develle joined the Herbert Roofing team in 2024. When she is not at work she enjoys spending time with her son and grandchildren. Develle has an extensive background in customer service and has become a great asset to our team. Her positive attitude is infectious and she helps keep our team motivated.
John Perez
John has a wealth of experience in all the trades, and the only thing he hasn’t done is plumbing and electrical! He also spent years as a truck driver and working on all sorts of heavy equipment, so he is great at keeping our warehouse and equipment in top shape. When he isn’t working, he enjoys spending time with his family and grandkids.
Dale Curnutt
Dale has been a part of our Herbert Roofing family since 2023 and is currently a part of our service team. Dale is motivated most by food – when he is not working, you will find Dale with a plate full of pineapple.
